Summer is coming to an end...

So after looking at all our friends blogs I finally decided it would be a good activity for me while I'm bored at work and a good way to keep up with all my friends lives.

This summer has been quite eventful:

Nicole's Wedding -

Nicole got married to Casey almost exactly a month before us. It was gorgeous, I was so sad that I wasn't able to go to the temple and see them come out! But we definitely made it to the reception that night, it was so pretty and of course Nicole looked beautiful as always! They looked so happy together and I am so happy for her! We actually jsut found out they will be having a baby in April, how exciting! I can't wait to be able to babysit :)

O U R W E D D I N G -

My decision to get married in May was partially because it was much less likely for it to rain, but lucky us it decided to rain the entire week! It's ok , it did let up a little during Temple pictures, but it was FREEZING, I'm sure nothing compared to a winter wedding though. After the Temple pictures we had a luncheon at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, it was so yummy and so filling, I never thought I would eat so much on my wedding day, thankfully my dress still fit! The luncheon was so fun and relaxing, I think it's true what they say about not worrying about anything on your wedding day! After the luncheon we only had maybe an hour until we had to be at La Caille for our ring ceremony, Randy and I dropped off our stuff and the Anniversary Inn as my mom and grandparents ran home to try and remove the huge stains on my dress from the dirt and rain. The time comes around where the families were supposed to be at La Caille for pictures and of course there was a mix up in the times and nobody showed up, no dress, no family, nobody to take pictures with. Everyone arrived late which wasn't too bad because by the time they got there the rain started to let up again and the sun started peeking through the clouds, perfect for outside pictures. The ring ceremony eventually started and I was so nervous, walking down the isle to my husband was so amazing, and his brother gave an amazing talk! Once all that was over Randy and I took some more pics, then got down to business. We ate some delicious food, cut the cake, bouquet toss and Danced the night away!

I wouldn't have changed a thing about our wedding, it was the most amazing day of my life!

Honeymoons -

We sort of got the priveledge of two honeymoons, the day after the wedding we headed up to Sun Valley, Idaho for a relaxing weekend at my uncle's condo. I'm so glad we got to do that because if not we probably would have been too tired to enjoy our real honeymoon! Pretty much all we did was sleep and watch TV. On the way back we also got a speeding ticket, how nice of Idaho, there are suprisingly a lot of cops for such a long empty freeway. Anyway, we left for our real honeymoon a couple days later; we flew down to Miami, Florida to board our cruise ship. I had never been on a cruise so I was pretty excited for it, we were headed to the Bahamas, which are gorgeous! We had so much fun just hanging out, eating tons, and playing in the sun. We also got to swim with stingrays on the cruise line's private island, it was quite an adventure!

The rest of the summer -

We went to vegas with our friends Sheldon and Michelle and Dallas and Angie, we rented a van and drove down there, it was way fun, car sickness and do-re-me's. It was a blast!

We made a trip to seven peaks which was really fun, some of the slides are so scary and very painful. We also got to go boating a few times with some of Randy's friends, it has been so fun, we got to wakeboard for the first time this summer and I forgot how fun and tiring it was! Nothing much has been happening this summer just enjoying married life and hanging out with friends!

I will hope to keep up with the blogging, I don't feel that our lives are too exciting but I'll make sure I keep updating every now and then with pics and stories.
